Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 07, 2026

At PDF Signature Validator, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our mobile and desktop application.

By using PDF Signature Validator, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Local Document Processing (Privacy First)

PDF Signature Validator is designed with a privacy-first approach.

No File Uploads: All core PDF utility operationsβ€”including viewing, editing, converting (Image, Word, and Excel to PDF), merging, splitting, compressing, page managing, and ID card to PDF creationβ€”are performed locally on your device.

We do not upload, store, access, read, or share your PDF files, images, documents, or scanned files on our servers. Your documents remain entirely on your device unless you choose to share or export them using your device’s sharing options.

Digital Signature Verification

Cryptographic signature verification is handled entirely on-device using our local trust store certificates and cryptographic methods. No details, certificate data, signer credentials, or verification results about the documents being validated are sent to us or any third party.

2. No Account or Login Required

The application operates entirely without user accounts. There are no registration, login, profile creation, or data-syncing options. We do not collect or request any personal identification information, such as your name, email address, or social profile data.

3. Payments and Subscriptions

PDF Signature Validator may offer optional in-app purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions (such as Monthly and Yearly Premium Plans) to unlock premium features. If you choose to subscribe:

  • Payment Processing: All payments and transaction details are processed securely by the Apple App Store (for iOS/macOS) or Google Play Store (for Android). We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card, bank details, or billing information.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions are auto-renewable and will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (e.g., monthly or yearly) unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Billing: Your App Store account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period.
  • Management & Cancellation: You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your App Store or iTunes Account Settings after purchase.

4. Third-Party Services

To ensure the performance, quality, and stability of the application, we may integrate diagnostic tool suites:

Firebase (Diagnostics & App Performance)

We may use Firebase diagnostics, analytics, and crash reporting services (such as Firebase Crashlytics) to collect anonymous error logs, app diagnostics, performance logs, and device models. This diagnostic data is completely anonymous and does not contain any file content, personal identifiers, or document data.

Google Privacy Policy: Google Privacy & Terms.

5. Permissions Used by the App

PDF Signature Validator requests specific device permissions only when required to perform operations you initiate:

  • File and Storage Access: Used to select, open, process, save, or export PDF files and documents.
  • Camera or Photos Access: Used only when you choose to create PDFs from images, scan physical documents, or create ID card PDFs.
  • Internet Access: Used solely for checking app updates, diagnostics, and performance logs. Document processing never transmits data over the Internet.

6. How We Use Information

If any anonymous diagnostics or crash reports are collected, they are used solely to fix application crashes, bugs, and errors; improve performance, stability, and speed; and maintain general security. We do not collect, sell, rent, trade, or share any personal information.

7. Data Security

We implement standard technical measures to protect any anonymous diagnostic data. Since your PDF documents are processed locally on your device, we have no access to them, and they are protected by your device's operating system security.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
